Caliginosity10

To celebrate 10 years of the release of Caliginosity, I am releasing a limited edition vinyl exclusive. Each track is uniquely mastered  unshackled by the constraints of digital mastering embracing the freedom of analogue mixing and mastering.

This has been my toughest project yet, mastering for vinyl means re-learning everything I thought I knew from scratch (excuse the pun).    Understanding the science of how vinyls play and how, as you go along the record, the sound changes, the grooves require particular balance, the speed affects the tones as the needle moves inward. I believe vinyl is the true medium to hear the music how it should sound.
